International Development Fund and its international partners have decided to nominate Mr. Jameel Alderbashi General Manager of Palestinian Center for Communication and Development Studies, for the Humanitarian Action Award 2010. It is worth mentioning that this nomination comes as a culmination for the Palestinian Center's prominent role since its establishment and its various services provided to vulnerable and marginalized groups in different marginalized Palestinian locations in the areas of development, democracy and human rights. Also, according to the merits of nomination, Palestinian Center has implemented hundreds of generating income projects which benefit disadvantaged families in various areas in West Bank. Furthermore, Palestinian Center has made hundreds of loans that helped middle-class families to build their houses, and it has defended children's rights to study, play express and participate.

Ms. Fida Abu Turky points out that this nomination for a 50 thousand-dollar prize will boost the chances of Palestinian Center at the international level to implement more human rights and development projects.  According to scapegoat Abu Turki Director of the Center that the nomination for this award, worth fifty thousand dollars boost the chances of the Center to the international level and access to regional projects of developmental nature and rights, saying that this achievement of the nomination is a sign of the continuing efforts of the Center to serve local communities.
