Palestinian Center for Communication and Development Strategies in Hebron announces that the first year of the project "Rural Institutions Capacity Development", financed the German Foundation for Development, was concluded with the participation of 13 institutions in Hebron. These institutions are: Feminist Programs Center in Al Fawwar Camp, Al Ramadeen Youth Club, Al Burj Youth Club, Halhul Youth Club, Sikka Charitable Women Society, Al Nahdha Family Society in Deir Samit, Baladna Society in Beit Kahil, Community Development Association for Thought and Culture, Tarkoumiah Feminist Club, Al Ata' Society and Livestock Society in Rihiyah village.

In this stage of one year, 13 workshops were held to determine the needs, the weaknesses and strengths points, challenges and opportunities of the participant institutions. Also, 2 training sessions were held on Institutional Development, and every session includes ten meetings. Furthermore, other 2 training sessions were held on Strategic Planning, and the duration of each was 30 hours in addition to many field visits to several institutions for the sake of providing guidance to each of them.

At the end of the first year of the project which will be resumed for another year, the participants recommended holding a complete training session on Financial Development because it is one of the priorities of civil co-work between the participant institutions.
