The
Conclusion of the first phase of the project "Establishing Small
Businesses Generating Income for Rural Woman in Hebron"
Within the Project "Establishing Small Businesses
Generating Income for Rural Woman in Hebron" which is funded by Arab
Fund for Economic and Social Development in Kuwait, the Palestinian
Center for Communication and Development Strategies establish 100
projects of sheep breeding for women in Al Fawwar Camp, Al Arroub Camp,
Beit Ola, Sikka, Deir Samit, Idna and Surif.
Mrs. Feda Abu Turky, the
director of the Palestinian Center in Hebron, points out that there is a
second phase that will begin this week in Hebron, Dura, Karmah and Yatta,
and it will target 40 women. Also, she adds that this project comes in
the time of hard economic conditions in the Palestinian territories.
Furthermore, the Palestinian
Center
points out that there is another project which concentrates on
bee-keeping and targets 120 women in Surif, Nuba and Kharas.
